Leadership

Meet our Head of School

Stephen Kumi

Stephen Kumi leads Macvak Kids Academy with a clear conviction: that a good basic education changes the direction of a child's life, and of their family's. Under his leadership the school has grown into a full Creche to JHS academy with a reputation for discipline, strong BECE preparation and a caring staff.

Mr. Kumi is personally involved in admissions and welcomes every prospective family to the campus. Book a visit to meet him.

Our teachers and staff

Our teaching staff are trained educators who follow the Ghana Education Service curriculum and take part in regular professional development. Class teachers at the Creche, Nursery and KG levels are supported by assistants so that our youngest learners get the attention they need.

Support staff keep the compound clean and secure, and every adult on campus is expected to model the values we teach.

Our campus

A bright, welcoming campus in Afienya

Macvak sits on the Appolonia to Afienya Road in the New Jerusalem area of Afienya. Our two-storey classroom block, painted in the school's signature colours, houses our Primary and JHS classes, while a separate block holds the school office and the early years classrooms.

Governance

How the school is run

Proprietorship

Macvak Kids Academy is a privately owned school operating under the regulations of the Ghana Education Service and the Ningo Prampram District Education Directorate.

Parent partnership

We hold regular Parent Teacher Association meetings and share progress reports at the end of every term.

Safeguarding

All staff follow our child protection guidelines. Concerns can be raised directly with the head of school at any time.
